Summertime Iceland Elopement | Izzy and Britton

This summertime Iceland elopement was straight out of a fairytale. Izzy and Britt chose to get ready separately which gave them the option to have an impromptu first look at their glass lodge.

One of the most fun things about Iceland is navigating the f-roads, rough, unpaved and fairly rocky roads; One of which leads right to Landmannalaugar, a stunning and colorful part of the Icelandic highlands. At the head of the trails sits a basecamp with all of your basic needs packed into a triad of converted school buses. Naturally, we warmed up with some Bailey's spiked hot chocolate before heading to our first location. The lava fields of Landmannalaugar were a contrast to the soft, mossy hills of Hella. After exchanging vows, theses two closed out their day in a fitting way, soaking in the warmth of the geothermal pools.
